Even if the most recent loss came against Arsenal in the Emirates Cup on penalties, the Monegasques' three straight victories in preseason have been dampened by subsequent losses.

Hutter's team will play the Bundesliga's top team after taking on a potential championship contender in England as they prepare for upcoming league action.

Since Bayern had played four games prior to the encounter on Monday, Monaco, which would be playing in its seventh friendly, ought to be more prepared than the team they face.

It remains to be seen if that affects the result or if the Bundesliga champions' better talent advances them.
